MARGAUX MOTIN
Margaux Motin is a renowned French illustrator, known for her sparkling and humorous graphic style. A graduate of the École supérieure des arts appliqués Duperré in Paris, she began her career working in advertising and the press before launching into comics.
Margaux Motin stands out for her vibrant, often autobiographical illustrations, which depict with great finesse and humor the little worries and great joys of everyday life. Her drawings, characterized by expressive lines and bright colors, captivate with their dynamism and sincerity. Her heroines, often modern and independent women, are the reflection of a generation in search of authenticity and lightness.

What are your passions?
I tend to be multi-passionate. I love walks in the forest or sitting in the garden and watching the birds fly by for hours. But more seriously, my great passion remains drawing and illustration.
Why illustration?
I have always loved drawing, I have been drawing since I was little. It has always been my passion and I was lucky enough to be able to make it my job. It is truly a choice of the heart and where I express myself most easily. It is also the best way for me to translate the things that touch me.
How and why work with LaCoqueFrançaise?
Because I had a huge crush on the brand a few months ago while wandering through the aisles of a department store. I came across their collection of chains and I found them so crazy and daring. I had such a crush that I wanted to create a capsule collection with the brand.

What is your connection with your phone?
My phone is truly my work tool. I have it on me all the time, often attached to a cord. It is the tool that allows me to capture what inspires me in my daily life.
How is your perfect day going?
My perfect day is a summer day by the sea where I have no constraints, nothing else to do but go buy flowers at the market, drink a coffee in front of the sea, walk, sleep... But otherwise, my perfect day the rest of the year is the days that I live every day, in a house that I love in my little country village with my darling, where we spend our days creating and discussing creation.
What is your perfect match at LaCoqueFrançaise?
If I want to escape, blue, beach, ocean: then I take my Splash case and put it with the multi-colored Polly long chain. But I love them all, I don't know how to choose. I think the best choice to make is the one that makes you happy.
