MARGAUX MOTIN X LACOQUEFRANCAISE
Margaux Motin is a renowned French illustrator, known for her sparkling and humorous graphic style. A graduate of the Duperré School of Applied Arts in Paris, she began her career working in advertising and the press before venturing into comic books.
Margaux Motin distinguishes herself with her vibrant, often autobiographical illustrations, which depict with great finesse and humor the small troubles and great joys of everyday life. Her drawings, characterized by expressive lines and bright colors, captivate with their dynamism and sincerity. Her heroines, often modern and independent women, reflect a generation in search of authenticity and lightness.

What are your passions?
I tend to have many passions. I love walks in the forest or sitting in the garden and watching birds for hours. But more seriously, my greatest passion remains drawing and illustration.
Why illustration?
I've always loved to draw; I've been drawing since I was very young. It has always been my passion, and I was lucky enough to turn it into my profession. It's truly a choice from the heart and where I express myself most easily. It's also the best way for me to translate the things that move me.
How and why work with LaCoqueFrançaise?
Because I fell head over heels for the brand a few months ago while browsing the aisles of a department store. I stumbled upon their chain collection and found them so crazy and bold. I was so smitten that I wanted to create a capsule collection with the brand.
What is your relationship with your phone?
My phone is truly my work tool. I always have it on me, often attached to a lanyard. It's the tool that allows me to capture what inspires me in my daily life.
What does your perfect day look like?
My perfect day is a summer day by the sea where I have no constraints, nothing else to do but go buy flowers at the market, drink coffee by the sea, stroll, sleep... But otherwise, my perfect day the rest of the year is the days I live every day, in a house I adore in my little country village with my darling, where we spend our days creating and discussing creation.
What is your perfect match at LaCoqueFrançaise?
If I want an escape, blue, the beach, the ocean: then I take my Splash case and pair it with the multicolor Polly long chain. But I love them all, I can't choose. I think the best choice to make is the one that makes you happy.
